What happens if I do not pass?
If you do not pass, you get one free retake. It unlocks 14 days after your test and stays open for 90 days. We email you the exact date it opens, with your retake link.
Why the 14 day wait?
A 14 day wait applies between a failed test and the next attempt, on every route. English ability does not change overnight; the wait gives real practice time, and keeps the assessment a measure of ability rather than repetition.
What if something goes wrong on the day?
You are never failed for a technical problem. If a fault on our side prevents your assessment from being completed or scored, your attempt is restarted at no cost, and if we cannot restart it we refund your payment.
Does verification cost anything?
No. Anyone can verify a certificate free of charge using its number, for as long as the certificate stands. Verify a certificate
